Kerala lottery weekly chart: which lottery is drawn today?
The Kerala State Lotteries department runs seven weekly lotteries, one for each day of the week. All draws are at 3:00 PM at Gorky Bhavan, Thiruvananthapuram, and every ticket costs ₹50 with a first prize of ₹1 crore. Click a lottery for its full result history.
Before September 2025 the weekly draws were Win-Win, Sthree Sakthi, Akshaya or Fifty-Fifty, Karunya Plus, Nirmal, Karunya and Pournami. Their results are archived under Akshaya, Nirmal, Win-Win, Pournami and Fifty-Fifty.
A Kerala lottery ticket number has two parts: a two-letter series and a six-digit number, for example KA 123456. The result lists prizes in tiers, and each tier is matched differently:
1st, 2nd and 3rd prize: the whole ticket must match, series and all six digits. These winning tickets are printed with the town where they were sold.
Consolation prize: your six digits match the first prize but your series is different. Every other series wins a consolation prize, usually ₹5,000.
4th to 9th prize: only the last four digits of your ticket are compared with the list of "tickets ending with" numbers. Any series counts, so one four-digit ending means many winners.
If your ticket qualifies for more than one prize, you receive the highest one. Use the ticket checker to compare a ticket against a draw automatically, and read the glossary for the terms used on result pages.
Kerala lottery prize structure
Each weekly draw pays ten tiers of prizes. The first prize is ₹1,00,00,000 to a single ticket, followed by a second prize of around ₹25 to ₹30 lakh, a third prize of ₹5 to ₹10 lakh, and consolation prizes of ₹5,000 for the same number in every other series. The 4th prize (₹5,000), 5th (₹2,000), 6th (₹1,000), 7th (₹500), 8th (₹200) and 9th (₹100) are paid on the last four digits of the ticket. The exact amounts for a draw are printed on its result page. See the full prize structure.
Sign the back of the winning ticket and keep it flat and dry. Prizes up to ₹5,000 are paid on the spot by any authorised lottery agent. Prizes up to ₹1 lakh are claimed at a District Lottery Office or a nationalised bank, and larger prizes at the Directorate of State Lotteries in Thiruvananthapuram, all within 90 days of the draw. Bring the ticket, a filled claim form, two passport photos, a self-attested PAN and Aadhaar copy and a cancelled cheque. Tax at 30% is deducted at source on prizes above ₹10,000. About the Kerala State Lottery
Kerala State Lotteries is the oldest government-run lottery in India. It was set up by the Government of Kerala in 1967 under the Department of State Lotteries, and the first draw took place on 26 January 1968. It remains the only lottery permitted in the state: private lotteries and lotteries from other states cannot be sold in Kerala, and Kerala tickets are sold only inside Kerala through more than 55,000 registered agents and about 1.5 lakh retailers.
Every weekday has its own lottery, and every draw is conducted at Gorky Bhavan in Thiruvananthapuram at 3:00 PM in front of officials and the public using mechanical draw machines. The result is announced immediately, published on the department's website the same afternoon and later notified in the Kerala Government Gazette. Six bumper lotteries a year, tied to Onam, Christmas, Vishu and other seasons, add prizes running into several crores.
Ticket sales fund the Kerala State Lottery Agents and Sellers Welfare Fund and contribute to the state's social welfare spending, which is why the department describes the lottery as a welfare scheme rather than a game of chance alone.
