Claims must be lodged within 90 days of the draw. Tax of 30% plus cess is deducted at source on prizes above ₹10,000, and 10% agent commission on prizes above ₹5,000. Bring the original ticket: a copy or photograph is never accepted. The office verifies the ticket against the draw record and forwards larger claims to the Directorate, which credits the prize to your bank account.
Becoming a lottery agent in Ernakulam
